Clinical records created during your consultation are maintained separately from this website. They are stored securely within the hospital’s clinical information system at Marengo Asia Hospitals, Gurugram, in accordance with:

- Medical Council of India (MCI) guidelines on patient records
- Marengo Asia Hospitals’ internal data governance policies
Your clinical information is never shared with third parties without your written consent, except where required by law (e.g., a court order or public health notification requirement).

2.5 Data Retention

3. Telemedicine Compliance
Teleconsultations offered through this practice comply with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, issued jointly by the Board of Governors of the Medical Council of India and NITI Aayog.
What you can expect in a teleconsultation:
- Dr Bhartiya will confirm your identity at the start of the session
- You may be asked to share photographs or reports to assist assessment
- A prescription issued during a teleconsultation will be sent electronically and will contain all information required under Indian law
- Teleconsultation is appropriate for follow-up, second opinions, and initial assessment of stable symptoms. It is not a substitute for an in-person examination where a physical examination is clinically necessary

4. Consultation Fees
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and guidelines discouraging concealed medical charges, our fees are disclosed here:

Fees are payable at the time of consultation. No investigation or procedure will be carried out without your informed consent and prior disclosure of the associated cost.
5. Compliance with Indian Medical Advertising Guidelines
This website and all associated social media content comply with the guidelines of the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) on medical advertising. Specifically:
- No claims of guaranteed outcomes or cures are made
- Patient testimonials displayed are voluntary and unsolicited
- Before-and-after images, if any, are used for educational purposes only
- No comparative or misleading claims about other practitioners or hospitals are made
- Fees and services are disclosed transparently (see Section 4)
