Who Should See Me
If you’re looking for an eye doctor who takes time to listen, explain, and think things through with you, you’ll feel at home here.
You may wish to consult me if:
You or your child has glaucoma, or you’ve been advised long-term treatment and would like a calm, thoughtful second opinion, with a plan that can be followed over time
You’ve been advised cataract or refractive surgery and would like to pause, ask questions, and be sure the decision is right for your eyes-especially if there are concerns such as suspicious optic discs, thin corneas, or glaucoma risk factors
You’re a parent worried about your child’s vision, whether it’s squint, lazy eye, frequent headaches, or struggles with reading and schoolwork
Your eyes feel dry, irritated, or itchy, and routine treatments haven’t really solved the problem
You’re experiencing double vision, unexplained vision changes, or eye problems linked to neurological conditions
You have diabetes or age-related vision changes and would like regular, careful retinal monitoring
You’re living with reduced vision or progressive eye disease, and want guidance, support, and realistic planning for daily life—not just test results
You’d like a comprehensive eye examination where nothing feels rushed and your questions are always welcome
If you value being an active participant in decisions about your eye care-understanding the options, risks, and benefits before moving forward-you’ll feel comfortable here.
I believe good eye care is built on continuity and trust. Many of my patients are followed over years, sometimes decades, as their needs change. Care works best when it’s a conversation, not doctors’ orders, we look at the findings together, talk through options (and trade-offs), and decide on the next steps as a team, with clarity, reassurance, and the occasional smile along the way. For patients who live elsewhere, I’m happy to work in partnership with your local eye doctor to guide and support your care over time.
